Newcomer Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the west in a fantastic game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the croupier, not like almost all other poker games that players wager against other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about other, more skillful people winning their cash.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty choices.

It is also easier to wager on for an extended time with only a little amount of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the dealer is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
