Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers receive five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including an amount in accordance with the initial bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pony’s up money even with your ante and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
