Beginners Course of Action for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a wonderful game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By playing against the dealer, new players don’t have to be concerned about other, more experienced individuals taking their money.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied choices.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given seven cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
